Epcot Round 1

We were up bright and early again this morning to go to Epcot. Ross drove Sweet Pea and me to the bus stop where we waited for Trudy to catch up in her scooter.

Sweet Pea chose to wear a beautiful Belle dress today.

We missed rope drop again this morning by a few minutes. As soon as we were all through the gate, I made a run for the Fast Passes at Soarin, while The rest of the group made there way to meet me. While we waited for our FP window, we rode Living with the land, which is one of my favorite attractions. They take you on a boat through various climates and through some futuristic gardens. It's very cool.

Ross and Amelia are standing in front of the boat in the picture below.

We saw a terrible ecology movie with Simba and other Lion King cast members called "The Circle of Life". Ross said, "If I had to make a pro-business agenda environment movie, that would have been it."

After that, it was finally time for the super fun ride Soarin. We are waiting to board our gliders in the picture below.

Next we all meeded a quick snack break. Sweet Pea loves the Uncrustables again this year.

Here she is sitting on the site of the infamous squirrel theft of 2011, when a squirrel actually un-zipped our back pack, took an Uncrustable out of it, opened the package and started eating it!

We rode a clamobile that went through an aquarium with commentary from the cast
of Finding Nemo.

One of our favorite attractions is Turtle Time with Crush, where the audience gets to have a live conversation with a cartoon turtle (Really. It is amazing.) Last year Sweet Pea was not called on to ask a question so this year we spent much of the queue time helping her think if a good question.

I did not expect, but was not surprised when Sweet Pea held her hand up during the _entire_ show, all the way until question and answer time. Of course, she got called on and asked what Crush's favorite food was. He said he liked sea weed and kelp and asked her favorite food was. She said, "Pasta".

We decided to have lunch at Seasons, a great counter service place that serves really fresh and tasty food. it was very tricky to get a table and go through the lines with both Sweet Pea and the scooter, but after some shuffling, we had a fantastic lunch.

Unfortunately on the way out of the land pavilion, the is a somewhat steep hill. Sweet Pea was joyfully running down it, when she tripped and busted up both knees and an elbow.

This ended our adventures at Epcot and after quite a bit if crying, we headed back to the buses.
